The wee man film extra's

I arrived at highbury and went to film costume and make up at 8am.After a bacon roll and coffee i went into costume,it was set in 1989 so we had to have style from that time,The thing was i only had my shoe's changed to boots haha,im a 1980's reject.

After seeing make up and having some powder put on my face i went to the set at the auld triangle,a pub used by the arsenal fans before match day.There was a lot of waiting around and i drank a couple of coffee's and talked to some of the other extra's.Then i was called to do a scene where im sitting with 3 cast members at a table in the pub and as the lead role comes over i get sprayed in the face with cs gas.But after a few pratice runs my voice was not loud enough,i had to scream out and run out the door.
So another guy got that role.My scene was sitting at a bar table reading a paper,the lead role goes to bar and then one of the other cast shouts him over,its paul ferris the wee man come over.
Then the gas gets sprayed and i just look up with my eyes and then some one walks in pub and i follow with eyes.Then ferris gets called to meet the god father.This scene was shot from the front,behind bar and to the side,it took a while to do.We broke for lunch and i had leek risotto was very nice and had lots of coffe and bottled water through day.
After lunch we finished off pub scene,the director was pleased with the way i just looked with my eyes and not raising head to much,so that was nice.
Then it was waiting around and then i was told i wouldnt be needed,so i went home at 3pm.
A great day and met a lot of nice extra's and the main cast and director. 

money for nothing(rise and fall of a white collar football hooligan)

I arrived at wimbledon film studio's and we started the shooting at 2pm,the street set was great it had a pub called the common inn,chinese takeaway,laundrette,taxi shop,barbers etc.
Scene one --2 rival gangs of football hooligans facing off,we were filmed head on taunting them and i got to the front,swearing and screaming.

Scene two--I was given a rubber bottle and we were screaming at them again then rushed forward to meet them in the middle holding up the bottle as i ran.
Scene three--standing around the niddle screaming while the fighting action took place.
Scene four--the main actor was in my gang,he was a really nice bloke and chatted a lot to us,we stood on street corner taunting the other gang and then the police car and van screech round the corner and we all run down the street.
Scene five--actors smash a car window and side window and throw in petrol bomb and car bursts into flame,we riot round the car and riot police come at us and we meet them head on ,then tear gas is thrown and the scene ends as the smoke enguff's every thing.

scene six--in a crowd of yobs as the 2 main actors talk,we silent waving arms about and screaming as they talk about going for a drink.
Areally fun day and the film based on a true story of a football hooligan who then goes on to be the biggest credit card fauldster in europe.
Only down side was waiting over an hour to sign i-pad and recieve my money but a great day had by all and the actor at the end said we have had some extras but u guys were awesome.

No 1 boxing academy gym,mitcham surrey

The gym is a friendly place with dean the owner and coach there to help with training if you need it.He is willing to train beginners to a high grade of boxing,learning all the skills.
The gym has 5 punch bags,some for long shots others for hooks and upper cuts,it also has a fine boxing ring for sparring.
Up stairs you have the weights,free weights and a bench press,also an area for skipping or just doing excisering.

Visit this gym and you will come back for more,its in a nice area and the gym is set up well.

cockneys vs zombies my day as an extra

i arrived at the location at 6.30am,we were shown a video on how to act like a zombie,then we were taken by a trainer and shown how to walk like a zombie.At this point i saw michelle ryan and alan ford arrive,mr ford said good morning.
I was then put into make up quickly,they done a great job with the zombie make up.
First i was driven to an old hursing home where we done a shot of us trying to get into a room where the stars were,there were shots taken from behind and also from the front,after which the crew showed us what they had filmed,it looked good.
We broke for lunch and i had the burger and chips,it was nice and we had as much coffee and tea on set as we could drink.
The afternoon was spent watching the main stars acting out a roof top scene,then we had to just put our hands on these kitchen windows while the stars acted inside,i think the affect will turn out well.

I meet i lot of nice people and really enjoyed the day,walking home with my zombie make up i got a few long stares haha.

mumbai

Going to leave for mumbai at 8 tonight,should arrive at 5am sunday morning,going by train.Job interview for both of us at a new school,fingers crossed.

Hot national holiday in india

National holiday today,so every thing closed and there are a few parades going on,the weather is really hot and i have made a lovely chicken curry.
